Gerry Davis
Gerald Davis was a Principal with Alchemy Properties for 15 years where he managed the development of more than 18 projects in New York City comprising nearly 1 million square feet of residential and retail space, both new construction and renovations, valued at approximately $1 billion. Gerry’s experience is concentrated in urban, mixed-use office, and residential properties. He most recently served as a consultant acting as an owners’ representative for several development projects.
Prior to joining Alchemy, Gerry led acquisitions for a New York City family real estate office and before that was a Vice President at M&T Bank, where he was a part of the Commercial Real Estate division responsible for originating first mortgage debt and managing a significant loan portfolio. He began his career practicing architecture in New York City.
Gerry earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University, a Master of Science degree from New York University, an MBA from Columbia University, and was a licensed architect in the State of New York. He is an avid skier, golfer and squash player and sometimes potter.
Neil Helman
Neil was most recently a Principal at Avison Young specializing in Investment Sales. With over 35 years of real estate experience, he has been actively involved with the marketing and disposition of investment-grade property and has undertaken and completed the sale of all types of real estate including office, apartment and retail properties, commercial buildings for adaptive re-use as residential, as well as sites for ground-up residential and hotel development. Neil has had numerous high-profile development and property sales during his career with a total value of nearly $2 billion.
During his 10-year tenure at Avison Young, Neil attained recognition as a company-wide top-performer by being named to inclusion in the company’s “Circle of Excellence”, a mark of distinction reserved for the company’s top transaction professional specialists nationally. He also attained an identically named honor in his prior position as an Executive Vice-President at Grubb & Ellis, where he worked for 15 years.
Neil has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College and a Master of Science degree from New York University. He is an avid skier, tennis player and squash player. He also has an affinity for black & white photography, which he collects.
